Student Sports All-American Second Team
The 30-man -14 Student Sports All-American second team team includes five underclassmen, including National Sophomore of the Year Josh Jackson and Thon Maker, a tenth-grader who’s already built a national following for his unique blend of size and skill. The second team also includes four players from California and three from Virginia.

Gatorade State POYs Announced
The -14 Gatorade State Boys Basketball Players of the Year have been announced. The winners were selected based on on-court athletic production and off-court factors such as academic achievement and community service. This year’s winners include 11 juniors (2015) and three sophomores (2016). Duke-bound point guard Tyus Jones is a three-time winner in Minnesota.

Student Sports presents the Hoop Scoop national player rankings, one of the longest running player rankings in the industry. The updated national Top 100 for the Class of 2016 shows dynamic small forward Josh Jackson of Detroit as the top-ranked player.
