Student Sports All-American Second Team

The 30-man -14 Student Sports All-American second team team includes five underclassmen, including National Sophomore of the Year Josh Jackson and Thon Maker, a tenth-grader who’s already built a national following for his unique blend of size and skill. The second team also includes four players from California and three from Virginia.

Gatorade State POYs Announced

The -14 Gatorade State Boys Basketball Players of the Year have been announced. The winners were selected based on on-court athletic production and off-court factors such as academic achievement and community service. This year’s winners include 11 juniors (2015) and three sophomores (2016). Duke-bound point guard Tyus Jones is a three-time winner in Minnesota.
