The NBPA Top 100 Camp is the most talent-laden individual camp of the summer. We list the top statistical performers and provide the top dozen overall performers as ranked by the Hoop Scoop.
This year’s NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va., lived up to tremendous expectations. Longtime McDonald’s All-American voter Van Coleman of the Basketball Channel stated he counted 17 players at the camp who project as NBA players and another five or six who have a great chance to make it to the league.
Ben Simmons of Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), last season’s Student Sports National Junior of the Year and a first five All-American, was considered by most recruiting analysts as the top overall player in camp. On the final day of camp, Simmons put up 21 points (5-11 field goals, 11-17 free throws), 11 rebounds, and three blocks against a team that featured returning All-American Cheick Diallo of Our Savior New American (Centereach, N.Y.). Diallo finished with 10 points (5-7 field goals), 11 rebounds and two blocked shots as his team posted the quarterfinal victory and went on to win the team championship.
The NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp All-American Team as picked by the players included, Ben Simmons, Diallo, Antonio Blakeney of Oak Ridge (Orlando, Fla.), Thon Maker of Carlisle School (Martinsville, Va.), Daniel Giddens of Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.), Noah Dickerson of Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), Malachi Richardson of Trenton Catholic (Trenton, N.J.), Malik Beasley of St. Francis (Alpharetta, Ga.), Taco Fall of Liberty Christian Prep (Tavers, Fla.) Corey Sanders of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and J.J. Caldwell of Cypress Woods (Cypress, Texas).

Jimmy Whitt from Hickman of Columbia, Mo. led the camp in steals (2.0) and Cheick Diallo led the camped in blocked shots (2.3).
