Senior guard Miles Reynolds scored all 16 first quarter points for Whitney Young (Chicago) in its 69-57 loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.). Reynolds finished with 21 points.

The rankings are based on performance during the event only, not performance combined with previous honors or various national or state player rankings. Our evaluations are based on all-around performance within the context of winning basketball. We also took into account statistics, a player’s class and, in most instances, performing on the winning or losing team was a factor in that particular player’s ranking.
